About the Role

We're looking for compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our growing Perth team. In this rewarding role, you'll provide personalized support to NDIS participants, helping them achieve their goals and live their best life.

You'll work with individuals across various age groups and support needs, from young adults to seniors, in their homes, in the community, and at our day programs. Every day is different, and every interaction makes a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Support participants with daily living activities such as meal preparation, household tasks, and medication prompting
  • Accompany participants to community activities, appointments, and social outings
  • Assist with skill development and capacity building programs
  • Implement and follow individual care plans and positive behaviour support strategies
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
  • Communicate effectively with participants, families, and the wider support team
  • Provide transport using your own vehicle or company vehicles

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or willingness to obtain
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • National Police Clearance (less than 12 months old)
  • Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Right to work in Australia

Desirable Skills

  • Experience supporting people with complex needs or challenging behaviours
  • Manual handling and medication administration training
  • Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder, intellectual disability, or physical disabilities
  • Mental Health First Aid certification
  • Ability to speak languages other than English

Working Hours

We offer flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle:

  • Morning shifts: 6:00am - 2:00pm
  • Afternoon shifts: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
  • Active overnight: 10:00pm - 6:00am (higher rates apply)
  • Sleepover shifts: Available at select locations
  • Weekend work: Available with penalty rates
